CLUB MEETINGS
& CONTACT INFO

The Optimist Club of Uxbridge has dinner meetings on the second and third
Thursdays of every month (except for July and August) at the Royal Canadian
Legion, 109 Franklin St. Social time begins at 7:00 pm and the meeting
is called to order at 7:30 pm. The club also has a Board meeting
on the second Thursday of each month.

NEVADA,
DUCK DERBY AND XMAS TREE FUNDRAISING FOR YOUTH AND COMMUNITY
|
The club has three
sources of income to fund youth activities: Nevada ticket sales at Main
Milk Store (182 Main St. N.); Duck Derby held in June; and, Christmas trees
sales from the first week of December at the Canadian Tire, 327 Toronto
St. S.

In addition to funding to other organizations, the club runs numerous hands-on
projects, including:

The
Uxbridge Optimist Junior Golf League is a
Boys and Girls
Mixed League for those aged 9 to 16. This will be run at Foxbridge
Golf Club (on the south side of Reach Rd.). Tee off starts at 7:30am.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to be ready for a quality,
affordable and most important “Fun” Junior Golf Program for Summer 2004.
Adult volunteers are needed and training will be provided. Thanks
to Foxbridge Golf Club, Sammy's Pizza and Ecowater for helping us bring
this Uxbridge Optimist Junior Golf League package together for our children.

also provides funding to the Uxbridge Optimist Flyers, a track club that
